Three Coleg Gwent engineering Apprentices at Chepstow-based Mabey Bridge, spent three weeks in Helsinki at metal fabrication company Konepaja. more>>>

IT lecturer Alun King and Independent Living Skills (ILS) lecturer Becky Williams, both based at Coleg Gwent, are preparing to step out of the classroom and into the exotic rainforests of Ecuador to learn about sustainability and conservation. Following a Level 2 qualification at the College Ystrad Mynach, Stuart Williams was recruited by Thomas Cook at the age of 17 and now still aged just 21 he’s working for British Airways, studying for further qualifications and is working towards becoming a pilot. more>>>
