Wasim Miah and Jessica Jones have been named UK young engineers of the year with a device to monitor foetal contractions. Students of St David's 's engineering scheme Wasim and Jessica devised a monitoring system to give an indication to would-be mothers as to when they are about to go into labour. more>>>

Entrepreneur Sara Flay told she may never work again because of a debilitating muscular neurological condition. But on she went to study for a Foundation Degree in Business Management at Neath Port Talbot College and then started her own business. She returned to the college to tell her story and inspire new entrepreneurs at the opening of ‘Centerprise’, a new student enterprise centre at Neath Port Talbot College. more>>>

Coleg Powys staff and students hosted and managed an amazingly eclectic fashion show from top to toe including both major high street fashion retailers and local retailers, and taking in children's wear to fancy dress and wedding outfits.
