Money for Life – Two new qualifications

The Money for Life programme is offering two new fully funded qualifications in Adult Financial Capability, accredited by the Open College Network (OCN)

Teach Me

  • Looking to improve your knowledge of financial capability? 
  • Would like to feel confident in the support you give to learners?

  • Want to feel that you have a good understanding of arange of core financial capability topics, the implications of financial exclusion and sources of advice and support?

Teach me is an online course that you can complete in just 30 hours and is suitable for anyone who is looking to improve their financial capability.  It is particularly appropriate for FE practitioners, teachers and community workers.

Teach Others

  • Do you want to be able to teach learners to understand money?
  • Do you want them to have the skills to manage their money better?
The aim of this short course is to enable those working in non-teaching positions within FE, outreach centres and key agencies in the community to be able to teach others financial capability.

By undertaking the course, you will gain:

  • basic facilitation skills 
  • the confidence to deliver short programmes or workshops
  • a nationally recognised qualification
