Carolyn is responsible for:

  • Financial management/control of CollegesWales and fforwm Services Limited. 

Sylvia Davies - Head of Public Affairs and PR 

Sylvia Davies

  • Internal and external communications e.g. websites, ColegauCymru's enewsletter, media relations 
  • Policy development and advocacy
  • Facilitating opportunities for collaborative events e.g. VQ Day, WorldSkills
  • ColegauCymru's corporate brand
  • ColegauCymru's publications

 


Julie Lewis - Quality & Communications Officer / Company Secretary

Julie Lewis

Key responsibilities:

  • Company Secretary for ColegauCymru and its subsidiary company, fforwm Services Limited
  • undertakes research and statistical analysis and provides digest reports and policy briefings 
  • monitors and improves the quality of ColegauCymru’s operational activities
  • identifies, communicates and promotes good practice in conjunction with the Head of Public Affairs
  • assist in running and organising a number of appropriate conferences and seminars

Sian Holleran

Sian is responsible for ColegauCymru's international arm, CollegesWales (Uk) International and is Grace Tan's line manager.

Roberta is responsible for:

  • PA to the Chief Executive
  • overseeing the administrative work of the office and MA programme
  • organising conferences and networks

Gill Barclay - Systems Co-Ordinator

Gill is responsible for:

  • assisting with conference arrangements
  • supporting the secretariat on a daily basis
  • assisting the Finance Director
  • working closely with the Head of Public Affairs on corporate branding and the website.

Grace Tan - Officer of the Wales-Chongqing FE Consortium

Grace Tan

Grace is based in Chongqing, China and works directly for the Wales-Chongqing FE Consortium


Gavin Thomas - Consultant

Key responsibilities:

  • advising CollegesWales and colleges on issues surrounding curriculum, standards, governance, management and quality
  • working on the implementation of CQFW in the FE sector as part of CollegesWales’ team
  • delivering core elements of the MA Leadership and Management (FE).

Adrian Sheehan - Consultant

Adrian is responsible for:

  • leading the team of CollegesWales consultants commissioned by DfES to support the implementation of CQFW in the FE sector
  • Co-ordinating Staff Development, Business Development networks
  • Co-ordinating and supporting curriculum networks including; Advanced Teaching and Learning, Business Studies, Business Administration and IT, Health and Social Care, Art and Media, Sport and Leisure and Science

Mike Jones - Pathway Leader for the MA Leadership and Management (FE)

Mike is responsible for:

  • liaising with University of Wales Newport on all matters relating to the MA Leadership and Management (FE)
  • coordinating the teaching, learning and assessments relating to the MA Leadership and Management (FE)
  • liaising with University of Glamorgan on the Postgraduate Certificate in Leadership and Management, which commences Sept2010.

Lyndon Evans - Consultant

Lyndon is responsible for coordinating the following networks: 

  • Estates
  • Health and Safety
  • European 
  • IT Systems network

Katy Burns - Consultant

Katy is responsible for cordinating the following networks:

  • Outreach 
  • Learners with Learning Difficulties and/or Disabilities (LLDD) 
  • Student Services 
  • Essential Skills Wales

Julia Owens - Consultant

Julia Owens

Julia manages the financial literacy projects: Money for Life and Money Week on behalf of the further education sector in Wales.
